Amazon is the world's largest e-commerce and cloud computing company, serving hundreds of millions of customers across 20+ countries and reshaping how people shop, pay, and access financial services. Amazon Payment Products BR has the mission to launch and manage payments products that will drive affinity and affordability to our customers. Amazon Crédito is Amazon's first-party lending product in Brazil, offering credit solutions directly to customers on our platform.

This role oversee the growth strategy, product roadmap, and P&L performance for Amazon Crédito. The successful candidate will combine deep business acumen with analytical rigor to drive measurable improvements not only through incremental funnel optimization, but through leap growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, structural changes to the business model, cost structure transformation and new revenue streams that fundamentally change the trajectory of the product. This requires someone who thinks like a business owner: fluent in P&L dynamics, able to identify where margin is created or destroyed, and capable of building conviction around bold bets while managing risk. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, someone who can go deep on data to identify root causes and growth opportunities, then shift to managing complex stakeholder landscapes, coordinating with external partners (BaaS providers, fund managers and administrators, credit bureaus, regulatory bodies) and internal teams (Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Legal), to drive solutions from problem identification through launch and impact measurement.

Key job responsibilities
- Growth Strategy & Business Ownership: Define and execute the growth plan for Amazon Crédito across the full customer lifecycle. Go beyond base optimization: identify and pursue leap growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, new distribution channels, product adjacencies, and structural changes to the business model that step-change the product's trajectory.

- P&L & Margin Optimization: analyze revenue drivers, cost structure, and margin levers to identify opportunities for profitable growth. Develop a clear view of unit economics across customer segments. Translate P&L insights into strategic priorities, knowing when to invest for growth and when to optimize for efficiency.

- Cost Structure Transformation: Identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities across the funnel, customer acquisition cost, servicing cost, cost of risk, funding cost and partner with relevant teams to execute. Propose structural alternatives and build business cases that balance short-term savings with long-term scalability.

- Funnel Optimization & Experimentation: Build and manage the experimentation roadmap: design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize conversion rates, credit adoption, and repayment behavior at every stage

- Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management Identify, evaluate, and structure partnerships that unlock new customer segments, reduce costs, or create competitive advantages. Coordinate with external partners and internal cross-functional teams to align on shared success criteria and navigate the regulatory landscape of consumer lending in Brazil.

- Metrics, Analytical Rigor & Operational Excellence Develop deep expertise in lending growth KPIs (eligible-to-enrolled conversion, activation rates, utilization, delinquency-adjusted retention). Lead daily operations with discipline — assess risks, monitor progress with actionable insights, and resolve bottlenecks to keep initiatives on track.

Basic qualifications

- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Product Management, Growth Strategy, P L, Financial Services, and Strategy. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
