AI in this role
Manage e-invoicing and document exchange products that leverage specialist sub-processors, including AI solutions.
Job Description
Product Manager – Pagero
Our customers send and receive invoices, but not always digitally. Some arrive on paper or as an emailed PDF, and some have to reach a customer's online bank or digital mailbox. Could you help make sure every document gets where it's going?
You will join the team that ensures our customers can trade with businesses and consumers who don't send or receive standard e-invoices, taking ONESOURCE Pagero beyond markets with e-invoicing mandates and delivering growth through global reach. You will work in both directions: enabling customers to receive invoices and orders, that arrive on paper or email, and to send invoices in print, by email, or, in the Nordics, to a customer's online bank or digital mailbox. These services combine Pagero's invoice expertise with specialist sub-processors, including AI solutions.
You will report to the Director of Product Management. If you already know Pagero from integration, services or support, you'll have a head start, and if you're new to it, you'll learn quickly. This role suits someone early in their product career, and you will learn from experienced Product Managers. As your skills and ownership grow, you will take on more responsibilities.
ONESOURCE Pagero is Thomson Reuters’ solution for e-invoicing and digital business document exchange. Businesses connect once to the open Pagero Network to send and receive compliant e-invoices and other business documents, such as purchase orders, with their customers, suppliers and tax authorities, whatever systems they use.
Key Responsibilities
In this opportunity as Product Manager - Pagero, you will:
- Help provide, manage and grow the services, from paper and PDF invoice and order capture to print and delivery to banks and digital mailboxes, by researching markets and competitors, building business cases for new markets, channels and service tiers, and contributing to how each is priced, packaged and improved
- Help to manage our sub-processors by preparing performance data and agendas for reviews, contributing your view and following up on actions
- Track how each service performs, including volumes, quality, cost per document and margin, and turn it into reports that show what is working and where to act, while keeping service information and decision records up to date
- Learn from customers by joining customer meetings and drawing out patterns from what Sales, Support and Professional Services hear
- Apply product judgement by forming your own view of what good looks like, speaking up if something falls short, and spotting how a change at a sub-processor, in our platform or in a delivery channel affects customers, cost and other teams
- Use AI tools and data to work smarter by preparing for calls, analysing sub-processor and service data, and checking what the tools produce before you rely on it
- Grow into ownership by bringing proposals and not just problems, taking on defined parts of the portfolio and, over time, sub-processor relationships
Required Qualifications
You’re a fit for the role of Product Manager - Pagero if you have the following required qualifications:
- Early career experience in product, operations, analysis or a customer-facing technology role, including internships or projects, that shows you learn fast and deliver
- Curiosity about customers: you ask who a service is for and what problem it solves before suggesting a fix
- Good instincts of what good looks like: you form a view and say when something falls short
- Interest in how products are taken to market, how competitors compete, and how a change in one part affects the rest
- Comfort with data: you can pull, question and explain numbers, and say what success should look like
- Active use of AI tools to learn and work faster, with the judgement to check what they produce
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through, including working with several people and sub-processors, and bringing next steps and not just problems
- Successfully pass an extended background check (criminal and credit).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with sub-processors or contracts
- Experience in a Pagero role such as integration, support or professional services
- Familiarity with e-invoicing, order processing, accounts payable/receivable or document capture
- Experience preparing reports or presenting to customers or senior colleagues

Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Product Management, Market Research, Business Case, and E Invoicing. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
