AI in this role

Are you passionate about creating a positive impact for people and the planet? Are you passionate about helping suppliers and businesses grow, compete, and thrive responsibly? We're looking for a Program Manager to drive the supplier engagement and development strategy across Amazon's Global Procurement Sustainability function. In this role, you'll design and scale programs that accelerate the positive impact driven through Amazon's supply chain building supplier sustainability capability and readiness, unlocking capital access, creating innovation engines, and opening contract pathways giving suppliers of all sizes the tools they need to succeed at scale.
• You'll build scalable mechanisms, think digital workshops, e-learnings, training programs, resource hubs, and playbooks that connect suppliers to real improvement pathways
• You'll target and engage with suppliers directly through accelerator programs, office hours, focused workshops, and matchmaking programs connecting them to real opportunities and accelerated growth
• You'll partner across sustainability, procurement, finance, legal, and other teams to solve complex supplier readiness challenges
• You'll measure what matters: readiness outcomes, participation rates, sourcing introductions, capital access, and contract wins

This is a high-visibility role where a single, well-designed decision can change the experience of tens of thousands of suppliers across 20+ countries and directly advance Amazon's sustainability commitments.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the development, deployment, and maintenance of all content in the Supplier for Good (S4G) Academy – Amazon’s primary digital training and engagement platform for suppliers
• Design, launch, and scale the Supplier for Good (S4G) Resource Hub, providing suppliers – both existing and prospective – with on-demand access to the tools they need to succeed
• Build mechanisms that create clear growth pathways for small businesses and certified Suppliers for Good (S4G) to scale across the organization
• Identify, assess, and develop suppliers to meet current and future business needs across indirect procurement categories
• Partner with operations, finance, treasury, accounts payable, and legal teams to support supplier financing programs, payment term escalations, and onboarding processes
• Design and deliver workshops, accelerators, webinars, office hours, and educational engagements for suppliers at various stages of the supplier and readiness lifecycles
• Create playbooks, SOPs, intake mechanisms, development plans, and FAQs that standardize best practices across Amazon business units
• Define and report on supplier development metrics including readiness outcomes, payment term utilization, participation rates, capital access, and contract outcomes
• Serve as a primary escalation point for supplier readiness issues across the procurement ecosystem

A day in the life
Your morning might start by reviewing supplier intake requests and triaging development priorities. By mid-morning, you're partnering with finance colleagues on a payment terms escalation. After lunch, you're facilitating a supplier readiness workshop, coaching 100 small businesses through certification, operational, and sustainability requirements and connecting them to a category sourcing lead. Later, you're analyzing program metrics to identify where suppliers are getting stuck and building solutions to remove those barriers. No two days look alike, but the through-line is always the same: creating a positive impact by helping suppliers succeed responsibly.
