Boeing is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work in Boeing Global Services located in Oklahoma City, OK. This Supplier Quality Engineer will support BGS KC-135 Sustainment Programs. Supplier Quality Engineers support all phases of the development life-cycle for hardware including the supply base from inception to post-delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

· Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

· Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.

· Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

· Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

· Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

· Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

· Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

· Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

· Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

· Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

· 3+ years of Quality experience

· 3+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

· 3+ years of experience working/partnering with engineers, product owners, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

· 1+ years of experience in Supplier Quality processes

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other technical degree

· Experience with AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)

· Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)

· Experience with Early Quality Involvement (EQI)
