Schedule: Permanent, Part-time, 10 or 12 hours per week, mixture of early and late shifts on 2-week rota, typical shift times are 6am to 2pm, 1pm to 7.30pm or 3pm to 9.45pm

As a Receptionist, you'll be one of the first people customers meet when they visit the facility. You'll provide a warm welcome, helpful information, and excellent service, helping create positive experiences that encourage community participation in health and wellbeing activities. Your work has purpose, supporting a trusted environment where customers feel valued, informed, and motivated to return while contributing to a positive impact on communities. Based on the role profile, the position involves delivering customer service face to face and over the telephone while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of reception services.


What you’ll do as a Receptionist

  • Welcome customers and provide accurate information about the facility, programmes and services available.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • Assist with day-to-day reception operations, including supporting reception activities in the absence of the Head Receptionist.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and follow all company financial procedures and cashing-up processes.
  • Promote additional services and activities where appropriate, helping customers make the most of the facility's offerings.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies, maintaining high standards at all times.
