AI in this role
Contract Recruiter responsible for hiring technical Go-To-Market talent including Solutions Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers.
GAQ427R204
Mission:
We're looking for a Recruiter to be the driving force behind hiring the technical talent that powers our go-to-market engine across Singapore (Asean/Greater China Region) — Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and the broader Field Engineering org. These are the people who sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers, turn the world's hardest data and AI problems into production reality, and make Databricks impossible to compete against. Your job is to find them, win them, and close them.
This is an exciting time to be part of the rocketship and the Databricks expansion in India. We're scaling fast, the bar is high, and the demand for elite technical pre-sales and field talent has never been more intense. You'll own full-cycle hiring for some of the most sought-after profiles in the market, partnering directly with Field Engineering leadership to build teams that don't yet exist.
Recruiters at Databricks are subject matter experts when it comes to talent attraction and are given full autonomy to bring new ideas and creative approaches to life. If you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and get energy from building in a high-growth, high-pressure environment, read on.
The impact you will have:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical GTM roles across Singapore (Asean/Greater China Region) — Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Field Engineering leadership — from first outreach to close.
- Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders as a true strategic advisor on sourcing strategy, market mapping, competitive intelligence, comp positioning, and talent insights.
- Activate and engage passive, hard-to-reach technical talent — the builders and problem-solvers who aren't actively looking but are exactly who we need.
- Build and sustain engaged talent pipelines that can keep pace with aggressive hiring goals and our continued APJ expansion.
- Create closing strategies that win against the most competitive offers in the market and manage stakeholder expectations with data.
- Use data to set benchmarks and metrics, drive workforce planning, and continuously sharpen our hiring process as we scale.
- Champion a world-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Databricks at every touchpoint.
- Play a key role in building a diverse, inclusive, and exceptionally high-caliber workforce.
What we look for:
- Proven experience recruiting within the software / Data / AI industry, ideally for technical GTM, pre-sales, Solutions Architecture, or Field Engineering profiles.
- A track record of scaling teams at a high-growth company — you know what it takes to hire fast without dropping the bar.
- High energy, grit, and a relentless work ethic — you get stuff done and you don't wait to be told how.
- An "AI builder" mindset: genuinely curious about the technology, hands-on with new tools, and able to speak credibly to deeply technical candidates.
- Comfort with chaos — you stay calm, prioritize ruthlessly, and thrive when the goalposts move and the pressure is on.
- The ability to build strategic partnerships across the business and influence senior stakeholders with data and conviction.
- A creative, resourceful approach to sourcing — you don't rely on the obvious channels and you love finding talent others can't.
- Strong ownership and a bias for action; you treat your reqs like they're your own business.

- List these exact terms on your resume: Technical Recruiting, Sourcing, Talent Acquisition, and Stakeholder Management. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
