This position reports to:

Sales, Service and Project Execution Regional Leader - Critical Power - Latin America

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Electrification Critical Power business line and customers during the technical advice and solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Team in Colombia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

· Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB CRITCAL POWER products/systems/applications.

· Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.

· Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and supporting achievement of targets on orders and revenues.

· Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product line of CRITICAL POWER in the region.

Qualifications for the role

Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles or as an Application Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields (licensed / certified engineer)
Experience with critical power equipment (Switchgear, PDU, UPS)
Professional working proficiency in English
