YOUR ROLE
- Strengthen the scientific credibility and authority of our Beauty Care brands across Europe by translating product science, clinical evidence, safety, sustainability and technical superiority into clear, compelling and scientifically accurate narratives.
- Build trusted relationships with dermatologists, professors, health care professionals, key opinion leaders and scientific partners - particularly in Germany - to bring external insights into the business, co-create credible credentials and endorsements, and shape future partnerships.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Brand, Sales, customer teams, agencies and regional or global partners to develop science-led narratives, claims, demonstrations, benefit visualizations, FAQs and concept-sell materials that support innovation and launch readiness.
- Strengthen our digital expert authority through an evergreen pipeline of expert-led content and reusable assets that increase scientific discoverability, advocacy and education.
- Act as a credible scientific spokesperson in media interviews, PR events, customer meetings, influencer engagements and expert forums, while equipping internal teams with clear and locally adaptable training, product stories and objection-handling tools that help drive trust, trial, new-user recruitment and category growth.
- Some travel will be required for expert engagements, events, customer meetings, media support and internal collaboration.
Job Qualifications
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related technical field; a PhD is an advantage. Candidates with a different academic background may also be considered based on significant relevant experience in R&D, Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Product Research, Engineering or scientific communications.
- Relevant experience in scientific communications, technical storytelling, expert engagement, medical or science communications, or related work is a plus. Experience in healthcare environments such as pharmacy or dermatology is also an advantage.
- Strong scientific or technical foundation, with the ability to quickly build expertise in Beauty Care technologies and translate complex science and technical superiority into compelling, accurate narratives, claims, demonstrations and benefit visualizations.
- Proven ability to build trusted external networks and collaborate and influence effectively across R&D, Product Safety, Brand, Sales, customer teams, agencies and regional or global partners, translating stakeholder insights into credible innovation and business recommendations.
- Strong business and outcome orientation, with the ability to prioritize scientific communication activities that drive advocacy, customer support, trial, recruitment and brand growth.
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics convincingly to expert and non-expert audiences across cultures; native/C2 German and strong English skills.
