Role Overview
The Security Officer protects guests, colleagues, visitors, assets and property while maintaining a discreet, welcoming ultra-luxury guest experience. Duties are performed in line with approved procedures, lawful instructions and assigned training.

Job Details

• Perform assigned patrols of guest-facing, back-of-house, beach, perimeter and other designated areas without disturbing guests. Check designated entrances, doors, barriers and other security safeguards; report unsecured areas or defects.
• Verify access for guests where applicable, colleagues, visitors, suppliers, contractors, vehicles and deliveries under resort SOPs. Complete approved access logs, identity/pass checks and visitor procedures; escalate disputed or unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to incidents, suspicious activity, accidents and emergencies, notifying the shift Team Leader and Control Room as required. Produce factual, timely security notes, incident reports and witness observations; distinguish personal observations from information provided by others.
• Follow emergency response, fire alarm, evacuation, shelter-in-place and first-aid procedures within training and assigned role. Carry out assigned visual safety-equipment checks, report defects and participate in drills.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control and radios only when trained, assigned and authorized. Maintain guest privacy and protect recordings and access credentials under applicable data-protection rules.
• Provide respectful, courteous, unobtrusive support in accordance with One&Only guest service standards. Safeguard VIP/VVIP information, guest movements, private residence details and colleague information on a need-to-know basis.
• Observe and report theft, property damage and unauthorized removal of property; avoid unnecessary confrontation. Document, secure and transfer Lost & Found property according to approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate shift records and handovers; communicate unresolved issues and priority risks. Attend briefings and training; maintain professional appearance, punctuality, integrity and teamwork.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in security, hospitality or comparable operational work preferred.
• Valid licences or authorizations where legally required for assigned duties in Greece.
• Excellent command of Greek and good command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn security reporting, patrol and access-control systems.
• Discretion, reliability, sound judgement, situational awareness, de-escalation and guest-service mindset.
• Ability to meet genuine operational demands, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• First Aid and fire-safety training desirable; undertake mandatory resort training.
