Senior Business Analyst - EDM Platform Services, hybrid, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

Alpha Enterprise Data Management (Alpha EDM) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for EDM Products to assist a high-preforming team in executing the vision, strategy, creation, and advocacy of the Alpha Data Management Offering. In this role, you will report directly to the EDM Product Owner and be responsible for helping execute the product build out through user/stakeholder research and help facilitate the overall growth of the product. You will work jointly with the product, engineering, and client-facing teams to build and deliver the best possible experiences and value to customers within the data management space through the Alpha Data Platform and Charles River Investment Management System.

The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen, passionate about evangelizing data-driven decision making and product advocacy at all levels. They should also be a strong communicator comfortable with facilitating requirement gathering, decision justification, and roadmap. This role requires hybrid work model - 3 days from the office/week.

Your new role

As a Senior Business Analyst for EDM Products you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the product execution organization ensuring initiatives are executed across internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Being the owner of capabilities withing the Data Management space.
• Ensure individual features and products are aligned with business objectives.
• Lead client calls and workshops to collect and understand customer insights to drive product decisions.
• Prioritize, communicate, and support complex and conflicting opportunities and market needs.
• Engage with cross-functional heads to ensure alignment and orientation to product execution across the organization.
• Contribute to the product roadmap communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with product teams to ensure timely and complete requirements gathering, definition, deconstruction, and design.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years combined experience in a software product role
• Enterprise Data Management experience
• Strong domain experience in Financial Markets
• Understanding of the investment lifecycle from manager due diligence to investment monitoring and analytics & reporting
• Ability to work as part of a global, distributed organization
• Progress towards CFA or CAIA is desirable
• Experience using JIRA or other agile development tools

Additional requirements

• Ability to travel as required for client engagements (-20%), including internationally

Minimum Salary:​

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
