What you'll be doing  

Lead data quality engineering across e-commerce and ERP pipelines, designing automated validation, profiling, and anomaly detection, and resolving cross-system data reconciliation errors to ensure high data integrity.

• Lead data quality engineering across e-commerce and ERP data pipelines.

• Design automated data validation, profiling, and anomaly detection rules, including ML-based anomaly detection, using automated data testing tooling (e.g. Great Expectations, Soda, Monte Carlo), dbt, and SQL.

• Define data quality dimensions (freshness, completeness, validity, schema drift) with severity, scoring, and quality SLAs.

• Build reconciliation frameworks and resolve cross-system data reconciliation errors across e-commerce, POS, and ERP feeds.

• Establish data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting in Google BigQuery or another MPP data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake), and surface data quality findings and scorecards to stakeholders.

• Support master data management and 'Golden Record' harmonization across systems.

• Apply data cataloging and lineage tools (DataHub) to trace, prioritize, and resolve data quality issues.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to data quality engineers and collaborate with data governance and engineering teams.

What you’ll need to succeed  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data quality engineering or data engineering.

• Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience in dbt and automated data testing tooling (e.g. Great Expectations, Soda, Monte Carlo).

• Experience designing data validation, profiling, and anomaly detection, including MLbased, across e-commerce and ERP pipelines.

• Experience defining data quality dimensions, severity, scoring, SLAs, and reconciliation frameworks.

• Experience resolving cross-system data reconciliation errors and supporting master data management.

• Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage (Datahub) and MPP cloud data warehouses (e.g. Google BigQuery, Snowflake), with a technical mentoring capability.

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for AI-assisted development.
