The opportunity
The Senior Director, Regional Marketing, Asia Pacific, will lead marketing for the full ACUVUE Vision Care portfolio, spanning Clear and Beauty lenses. The role is accountable for scaling the total portfolio across the region by building the category, recruiting new wearers, strengthening brand equity, delivering successful launches and raising marketing effectiveness, and for ensuring APAC needs shape global strategy and innovation.
As a member of the APAC leadership team, the leader shapes regional strategy, portfolio choices and resource allocation, and acts as the principal marketing and growth partner to the Vice President, Vision Care, Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities
1. Regional marketing and category growth
· Growth strategy. Define the APAC marketing strategy and brand plans for the full Vision Care portfolio, with clear choices by market, consumer segment, occasion and channel, and investment guided by evidence and expected return.
· Consumer insight and category building. Build a deep understanding of consumers, cultural trends, unmet needs and competitive dynamics, including the moments that drive consideration, fitting, trial, repeat use and dropout. Use this to build scalable models that turn interest into professional fitting and sustained wear.
· Business intelligence. Turn regional and local data into actionable insight to track in-market performance, optimize marketing assets and execution, and measure business outcomes.
· Brand and portfolio. Strengthen ACUVUE trust, relevance and distinctiveness. Give each franchise (Clear daily disposable, reusable, astigmatism, multifocal and Beauty) a clear role by market, balancing brand building with demand generation.
· Global strategy and innovation influence. Represent APAC in global strategic marketing and R&D. Translate consumer, eye care professional (ECP) and market insight into clear product requirements, including design, comfort, wear experience and packaging. Work with Global Strategic Marketing (GSM), R&D and other upstream teams so that APAC priorities shape portfolio strategy, the innovation pipeline and launch sequencing.
· Launch excellence. Lead new product introductions (NPIs) and regional launches end to end, from insight and positioning through ECP adoption and post-launch optimization. Build claims and evidence plans early with Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs, so that each launch has substantiated, locally relevant claims and the clinical, consumer and real-world evidence to win with ECPs and wearers.
· Professional and customer marketing. Partner with Professional Education, Medical Affairs and Sales to strengthen ECP recommendation, and with key accounts, optical retailers and e-commerce platforms to win at the point of purchase.
· Omnichannel and modern marketing. Connect media, creator and KOL partnerships, eye care practices, retail, marketplaces, social and live commerce and CRM into one wearer journey. Build performance discipline through experimentation, incrementality testing, marketing-mix modelling and responsible use of AI.
· Market partnership. Partner with market General Managers and local marketing teams on market-specific growth plans and culturally relevant activation, and scale what works across the region.
2. People, capability and governance
· Team and capability. Lead, coach and develop the regional marketing team, building succession and future marketing leaders. Raise marketing capability across markets in consumer insight, category development, brand leadership, performance marketing, digital commerce, analytics and AI, including through regional communities of practice.
· Investment and governance. Own the regional marketing budget and agency ecosystem with clear accountability for quality, speed and return. Partner with Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Privacy, Health Care Compliance, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver compliant programmes.

· Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership, investment prioritisation, agency leadership and return assessment.
· Ability to lead through influence in a complex, global matrix organization, including shaping global marketing and R&D priorities, with exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
