How you'll make impact

Brazil is a priority expansion market for Airwallex, and this role will establish our local marketing presence from the ground up as our first dedicated marketing hire in the country. You'll connect global Marketing capabilities with Brazilian customer, commercial, and ecosystem needs.

• Build Airwallex's marketing presence in Brazil through localized campaigns, Portuguese-language content, events, and a repeatable market playbook.

• Drive marketing contribution to pipeline and customer growth by partnering with Brazil Sales, Partnerships, SDR, and RevOps on priority segments, demand generation, and sales enablement.

• Develop localized content and messaging for Brazilian audiences, including thought leadership, customer stories, competitive positioning, pitch materials, and other content that supports commercial conversations.

• Expand Airwallex's brand credibility by building relationships with fintech communities, startup hubs, industry associations, media, and other ecosystem partners.

• Deliver measurable marketing programs across digital channels, events, partnerships, and co-marketing initiatives, using KPIs across awareness, engagement, pipeline, customer acquisition, and campaign efficiency.

• Partner with Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and global Marketing to reflect local market realities while maintaining alignment with Airwallex's broader strategy.

You'll work from our São Paulo office three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday.

What we're looking for

Essentials

• 8+ years of marketing experience, including meaningful experience in regional, country, growth, demand generation, integrated, field, or product marketing.

• Experience building or scaling marketing programs or functions in Brazil or Latin America.

• Strong knowledge of the Brazilian market and credibility with local customers, partners, media, and business communities.

• Experience developing and executing country or regional marketing plans.

• A track record of owning measurable marketing programs and connecting activity to pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, or other commercial outcomes.

• Experience localizing global positioning, messaging, campaigns, or content for Brazilian audiences.

• Fluent written and verbal Portuguese and English.

• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, SDR, RevOps, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and global Marketing.

• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively without direct authority.

• Commercially minded and analytical, with experience defining and reporting on marketing KPIs.

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, B2B technology, or another complex and regulated environment.

• Comfort working independently and building in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.

Preferred

• Experience marketing cross-border payments, treasury, FX, or global financial infrastructure products to business audiences in Brazil or Latin America.

• Experience supporting a new-market launch or early-stage expansion at a high-growth fintech or technology company.

• Experience managing Brazilian agencies, freelancers, vendors, or event partners.

• Working proficiency in Spanish.

• Experience with partner-led marketing, co-marketing, CRM, attribution, experimentation, or lifecycle programs.

This team leads across product marketing, brand, demand generation, and regional GTM: understanding what our platform actually does, then building the stories that make it land with real businesses, not just buyers on paper. They work closely with product, sales, and leadership, so the link between marketing activity and business outcome is direct.
