Our Mission:

We’re on a mission to be a force for good in lending. About the Role:

As a Senior Manager in Business Analysis within our UK Card division, you will bring strategic and quantitative insight to address high-impact enterprise challenges. In this cross-functional leadership role, you will guide teams to design, test, and deliver strategies that support our customers and their financial wellbeing. You will thrive in a collaborative environment built on mutual accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape business strategies that deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and customer value in a changing market and regulatory landscape.
  • Business Accountability: Maintain end-to-end management for key business segments, directly impacting the business's P+L.
  • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and support diverse teams while mentoring talent across the wider organisation.
  • Product & Pricing Strategy: Guide product-level modelling and analytics, design customer-centric lending products, and implement effective pricing strategies.
  • Marketing & Insights: Inform direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, leveraging customer insights to launch go-to-market plans and tech concepts.
  • Credit Risk Management: Enhance credit performance by connecting future credit trends to historical data, refining risk models, and validating hypotheses.
  • Execution & Delivery: Oversee concurrent projects, define clear requirements, and sequence delivery against overarching product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and Sales to enhance quality, service, and commercial outcomes.

The skills and experience you need:

  • Leadership & Initiative: Proven track record of guiding project teams, mentoring junior colleagues, or leading cross-functional workstreams (formal line management experience is welcomed, but not required).
  • Commercial & Risk Acumen: Experience shaping strategic growth, pricing, or credit risk strategies with clear commercial or P&L impact.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build consensus with senior leaders and guide complex, high-visibility initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to pair conceptual thinking with quantitative rigour to solve complex business problems.

Nice to Have:

  • Sector Expertise: Background in UK retail banking, consumer lending, credit, or management consulting with a focus on financial services or consumer lending.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in credit risk modelling, regulatory frameworks, or direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with analytics tools and cloud environments (e.g., SQL, Python).

Where and How You'll Work:

  • This permanent position offers hybrid flexibility based in either our London or Nottingham office.
  • We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being dedicated work-from-home days.
  • Our offices are designed to inspire and support you. At our Nottingham head office, you'll find an on-site gym, restaurant and dedicated Learning Loft. Our London office boasts a rooftop running track and coffee bar.
  • Cross-Site Travel: Approximately twice monthly to foster collaboration across both office locations.

What’s in it for you:

We invest in the growth of our people alongside our business. You will have extensive opportunities to learn and develop your career, including access to up to £5,000 in funding for external qualifications.

In addition to career development, our comprehensive benefits package is designed to grow with you, ensuring your wellbeing is prioritised at every stage of your career:

  • Wealth & Future: Competitive pension and performance-based bonus schemes
  • Holidays: Start with 25 days of annual leave, increasing with tenure. Need more? You have the option to buy 5 additional days.
  • Health: Access premium care through our private medical insurance.
  • Family Support: We champion your milestones with enhanced parental leave.

A full list of our benefits is available here.

What you should know about how we recruit:

  • We pride ourselves on hiring the best people, not the same people. Building diverse and inclusive teams is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do. We want to work with top talent: whoever you are, whatever you look like, wherever you come from. We know it’s about what you do, not just what you say. That’s why we make our recruitment process fair and accessible.
  • We value diversity, inclusion and belonging at our core. We empower our associates to do great work by creating an inclusive culture—one that values diverse perspectives, fosters collaboration and encourages innovative ideas—and a place where associates of all backgrounds can thrive by bringing their most authentic selves to work. We call this our Culture of Belonging, and it rests at the heart of our business.
  • Our associate-led Business Resource Groups were created to help support our diverse population and include over 10 groups across our offices. Because each Business Resource Group is as unique as the population it serves, they offer a range of activities, networking opportunities, special events and learning programmes to associates.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Business Analysis, Strategy, Credit Risk, Pricing Strategy, and Analytics. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
