Job Responsibilities :
Razer is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Global IT Infrastructure team in Singapore. This role has two missions: building and running the cloud, Kubernetes and DevOps platforms behind Razer’s enterprise applications, and building the AI platform that takes internal AI agents from idea to secure, well-governed production. This is an engineering role, not a support role. The emphasis is on cloud, DevOps, AI platform engineering, automation, reliability and security across a hybrid Azure (primary), AWS and on-premises estate. You are a senior individual contributor with technical leadership responsibility: a self-directed engineer who combines engineering depth with methodical troubleshooting, and who is comfortable operating complex, international, multi-site environments. The role participates in an on-call rotation for major incidents and planned after-hours activities when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and highly available cloud platforms, primarily on Azure, including networking, identity, compute, storage and hybrid connectivity, delivered through reusable Infrastructure as Code templates and platform components
- Design, build and operate container and Kubernetes platforms, primarily AKS, for enterprise applications, APIs and AI workloads, covering provisioning, scaling, upgrades, networking, security, observability and troubleshooting
- Automate provisioning, configuration, patching and lifecycle management with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), and optimize cloud resources for performance, security and cost
- Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD and GitOps capabilities, including automated testing, security scanning, image management, deployment, rollback and release controls
- Lead modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, containerization and legacy retirement
- Design, deploy and operate the platform that hosts AI agents and LLM-based applications, using cloud AI services (e.g. Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore) and containers
- Integrate agents securely with enterprise systems through standard APIs, connectors and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Implement AI platform guardrails in line with Group Information Security and AI governance policies, including least-privilege agent identities, data access controls, audit logging, agent evaluation and versioning, runtime observability, and monitoring of AI usage and cost
- Mitigate AI-specific risks such as prompt injection and data leakage through platform design and controls
- Provide reusable templates, reference architectures and self-service environments, and help departments move AI and agentic use cases from prototype to production
- Implement centralized monitoring, logging, alerting and platform SLOs
- Act as technical lead during major incidents, and drive post-incident reviews through to permanent fixes
- Own backup, restore and disaster recovery, including scheduled DR tests against agreed RTO and RPO targets
- Embed security into platform design and pipelines (cloud IAM, secrets management, encryption), work with Group Information Security on vulnerabilities and compliance, and maintain platform standards, runbooks and change management practices
- Mentor engineers on platform engineering best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or equivalent practical experience, plus 5+ years in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps or SRE
- Hands-on production experience with Azure (AWS a plus), Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization and enterprise networking, including hybrid connectivity and private endpoints
- Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, ideally AKS: deployment, scaling, upgrades, networking, security and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Git-based workflows
- Scripting in PowerShell, Python and/or Bash
- Experience with observability platforms (e.g. Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana), enterprise backup and DR, and leading major incident response
- Platform security: cloud IAM (Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC, or AWS IAM), secrets management (Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault) and encryption
- Hands-on experience deploying or operating AI/LLM-based applications or AI agents in a production or enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of at least one cloud AI platform (e.g. Microsoft Foundry with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Amazon Bedrock)
- Understanding of AI-specific security risks (prompt injection, data leakage) and how to mitigate them at the platform level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, calm and structured under pressure, with clear communication across technical and business stakeholders in a global team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Agent 365, Entra Agent ID, Microsoft Purview and Defender capabilities for governing and securing enterprise AI agents is an added advantage
- Familiarity with agent frameworks (e.g. Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK), MCP and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) using services such as Azure AI Search is an added advantage
- Experience building internal developer platform capabilities and leading modernization projects is an added advantage
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost governance, and of ITIL and SRE practices (e.g. SLOs, error budgets), is an added advantage
- Certifications such as CKA, Terraform Associate, AZ-400, AZ-305, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are an added advantage

Skills and AI tools this role asks for
Questions you could be asked
- How would you design a retrieval step so the model answers from real data instead of guessing?
- How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
- What are the limits of OpenAI that you've run into, and how did you work around them?
- What's a project where you used Claude hands-on?
- Walk me through how you've used Copilot in your day-to-day work.
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: RAG, AI agents, OpenAI, Claude, and Copilot. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
