We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Security & Authorisations Consultant to join our international SAP team and support enterprise SAP environments across both on-premises and cloud solutions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP Security professional with strong expertise in SAP authorisations, role design, SAP Fiori security and access governance, who is comfortable working across complex SAP landscapes.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SAP roles and authorisation concepts aligned with business and security requirements.
• Fluent German and English.
• Manage user access, roles and authorisations while ensuring compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.
• Support SAP security and authorisation management across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP environments.
• Support and optimise SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) / SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance (IAG) processes.
• Build and maintain authorisation concepts for SAP Fiori, including catalogues, applications and related services.
• Analyse and resolve complex SAP Fiori and authorisation issues using standard SAP diagnostic and tracing tools.
• Support SAP security incident analysis, audits and security assessments.
• Provide expert guidance to operational and support teams in the area of SAP security and access management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, security concepts and work instructions.
• Support activities related to modern SAP cloud and transformation environments.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other SAP specialists.

What we are looking for

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP Security / Authorisations Consultant, ideally at Senior or Expert level.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP user, role, profile and authorisation management.
• Strong experience with role design, SU24, authorisation traces and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Fiori security and authorisations.
• Experience with SAP GRC and/or SAP IAG.
• Good understanding of the broader SAP architecture and security landscape, including cloud environments.
• Experience with SAP security assessments and audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex security and access issues.
• Experience working in complex enterprise SAP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP RISE and/or agile delivery methodologies would be an advantage.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an international environment.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.
