What is the opportunity? 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to join our Enterprise Architecture team, supporting the AI-Powered Software Delivery initiative. This is a rare opportunity to shape how RBC builds software in the age of AI — and what that transformation means for our people, our governance, and our pace of delivery. 

AI is fundamentally changing the way software is designed, built, and delivered. As Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision, direction, and roadmap end-to-end — from plan to launch and beyond — for the capabilities that modernize how software is built across the enterprise. This is a strategy and outcomes role, distinct from day-to-day execution and backlog ownership: you set where the product is going and why, and you ensure it delivers real value. 

The scope of this role is significant. The products you shape will impact how software is built across the enterprise, ensuring that speed, quality, and control advance together rather than at each other's expense.

Governance and delivery processes can be manual, fragmented, and slow. This role exists to define and drive a product strategy that modernizes how RBC builds software with AI - turning emerging AI capabilities into reliable, adopted products.

What success looks like in your first six months: 

• A clear, prioritized product roadmap aligned with engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and key stakeholders. 

• Strong early adoption of released capabilities among target users. 

• A repeatable, well-understood plan-to-launch product process. 

• Measurable improvement in product health metrics such as NPS, adoption, and engagement. 

What will you do? 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will: 

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered software delivery capabilities, keeping it current as priorities and technology evolve. 

• Set product direction and translate it into a prioritized, outcome-driven roadmap. 

• Partner closely with engineering and Enterprise Architecture to sequence delivery, resolve trade-offs, and keep the roadmap aligned to feasibility and value. 

• Engage stakeholders across risk, compliance, delivery teams, and leadership to align priorities and secure buy-in. 

• Manage the product end-to-end from plan to launch and follow-up - including release planning, go-to-market communications, user guides, and enablement materials. 

• Define and track success metrics such as NPS, adoption, engagement, and time-to-value; use insights to iterate and improve. 

• Conduct user and market research to validate needs and inform priorities, applying product management best practices. 

• Champion responsible, governed AI - ensuring products advance speed and control together rather than at each other's expense. 

What do you need to succeed? 

Must-have: 

• 5-7+ years of product management experience, ideally at a senior level, owning a product from strategy through launch and iteration. 

• Proven experience defining and delivering a product roadmap and vision in a cross-functional environment. 

• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and technical stakeholders, with comfort making prioritization trade-offs. 

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-alignment skills. 

• Data-informed mindset with experience defining and tracking metrics such as NPS, adoption, and engagement. 

• Experience with go-to-market planning, release management, and product communications/enablement. 

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and responsible AI considerations. 

Nice-to-have: 

• Product certifications (e.g., Pragmatic, SAFe POPM, or equivalent). 

• Experience with developer tools, platform products, or SDLC/delivery tooling. 

• Financial services or regulated-industry product experience. 

• Exposure to enterprise architecture practices and cloud platforms.
