- Contractual Strategy: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Advanced Legal Research & Advisory: Provide legal assessments requested by regional office or local stakeholders from time to time.
- Corporate Secretarial Management: Preparation of board resolutions, annual declarations to the Ministry of Commerce, and ensure compliance with the Law on Commercial Enterprises.
- Legal Operations & Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.
- Master's degree in Law or a related legal discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in legal and compliance roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lao legal and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and legal agreements under Lao law
- Proven ability to assess legal and compliance risks with precision and develop robust solutions within the Lao context
- Proficiency in standardizing agreement frameworks and Service Level Agreements across multiple agreement categories
- Advanced analytical capabilities to evaluate legal matters and provide strategic counsel to organizational stakeholders
- Fluency in written and spoken English
