Job Description

Role Summary:

The Sr. Finance Manager; Financial Analysis is responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. This role performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance, gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

The position also conducts economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental requirements.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
• Conduct economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
• Support the preparation and analysis of operating metrics, utilizing data to create process efficiencies, identify bottlenecks, and initiate process improvements.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial plans and forecasts.
• Experience in conducting economic research and studies.
• Experience in interpreting financial concepts for planning and control.
• Experience in summarizing recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
• Experience in audit, finance, accounting, or statistical reporting.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in advanced application of pivot tables, macros, and formulas.
• Experience in resolving tough business problems with well-structured analyses.
