About this role
The Discovery pillar's mission is to make it easy and delightful for retailers to find brands and products their customers will love. This role owns the vision for how retailers experience Faire across our app and across the core components of the buying journey.
We are looking for an experience PM with strong design taste and a track record of leading work across teams at a scaled consumer company. You will set the north star for the Faire mobile app and for the shared components that underpin the buying experience on Faire (e.g., product and brand tiles, product grid, filters, and global navigation), and you will make sure the work that many contributing teams do adds up to one cohesive experience.
What you’ll do
- Own the vision and strategy for the Faire app, grounded in what retailers want and say about it.
- Review app work across teams to ensure a cohesive experience that meets our app goals, and monitor the app's metrics.
- Own the vision for our core buying-journey components, including product tile, brand tile, product grid, filters, and global navigation, and set how they work across surfaces.
- Define the metrics that quantify the impact of experience improvements, and build a shared view of impact across contributing teams.
- Partner with design, engineering, and PM leaders across Discovery and other pillars to make shared components scale across surfaces.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the components you own, partnering with teams that build on them to reach better solutions more efficiently.
- Represent the app and experience strategy to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, scaled user-facing experiences, ideally at a marketplace or e-commerce company.
- Strong design and UX craft and taste, with a point of view on what great looks like.
- A track record of leading work across multiple teams you did not manage, and bringing them toward one vision.
- Deep expertise in your product area and a reputation as a collaborative partner that other teams seek out.
- Analytical skills: you define success metrics and quantify the impact of experience changes.
- Platform thinking: you think beyond the use case in front of you to how a solution scales across other experiences.
- Experience with design systems, mobile apps, or discovery experiences (search, browse, filters) is a plus.
- Comfortable working with AI tools and thinking about how they change the way product teams work.
Salary Range
San Francisco, CA: The pay range for this role is $220,000 - $302,500 per year.
