About the Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. The role supervises housekeeping staff, conducts inspections, ensures compliance with hotel standards, and supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and staff assignments.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Ensure all rooms are prepared according to hotel standards and guest requirements.
• Monitor housekeeping productivity and maintain efficient room turnaround times.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping team members in operational procedures and service standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Report maintenance defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure adequate inventory of linens, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing schedules, attendance records, and departmental reports.

About You

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning chemicals, and safety practices.
• Basic computer skills and experience with housekeeping management systems are an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
