AI in this role
Technical curriculum developer creating cloud training courses and labs for AWS technologies, including generative AI and machine learning.
We’ve experienced rapid growth in the demand for a wide range of AWS courses, and these courses are having a direct impact on our customers. Government customers are rapidly adopting AWS as a way to build scalable and cost-effective web and IT solutions for their missions. To do that effectively, they need training, and not just a couple of slides and a long lecture. We are developing highly technical courses with extensive hands-on labs, complex process and solution diagrams, e-learning courses that can be accessed 24x7, and self-paced labs that get customers deep into AWS technologies.
The Dedicated Cloud Training team is looking for a motivated Technical Curriculum Developer/trainer who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills. Along with delivering training, you will partner with several AWS teams to develop instructor-led and digital training content around AWS services and features.
The ideal candidate is a smart, innovative, driven, problem solving Technical Curriculum Developer with technical subject matter expertise in one or more IT infrastructure domains (storage, compute, networking, security, software development, systems administration, database engineering or administration, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, big data, DevOps, generative AI or other IT infrastructure domain). The candidate will have excellent writing skills and the ability to translate deeply technical content into easy-to-understand training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have training, instructional design, or technical documentation experience, programming experience, and thrive in an extremely agile environment. Above all, the candidate will have a passion for learning.
This position requires that the candidate selected be an Australian citizen and be eligible for at least an NV-1 security clearance.

• Utilize automated lab and courseware publishing processes built on AWS.
• Build relationships with AWS service teams to understand roadmaps and plan for content updates or new training offerings. Respond to changes in products/features by revising content at a rapid pace using agile methodologies.
• Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with curriculum stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives, modalities and expectations.
• Have very high standards for quality of work and strong attention to detail, following various required guidelines and holding peer reviews for all content developed.
