このポジションでは、B&Rのオートメーションソリューションに関する技術的専門知識を提供し、営業組織および顧客を支援する重要な役割を担います。

入社後は、B&R製品、システム、ソフトウェア、およびアプリケーションエンジニアリングに関する包括的なトレーニングを受けていただきます。日々の業務では、セールスエンジニアと密接に連携しながら、顧客のアプリケーションに対して最適かつコスト効率の高い技術ソリューションを提案し、事業成長と顧客満足度の向上に貢献していただきます。

主な業務内容

• 営業担当を支援し、B&Rのオートメーション製品、システム、ソフトウェア、サービスに関する技術コンサルテーション、アプリケーションサポート、ソリューション提案を行います。
• 顧客要件を分析し、コントローラシステム、モーションコントロール、安全制御（Safety）、HMI、産業用通信、ソフトウェア技術を含むオートメーションソリューションの選定、構成、サイジングを支援します。
• 顧客との打ち合わせ、技術プレゼンテーション、デモンストレーション、ワークショップ、PoC（概念実証）活動、および技術的ディスカッションに参加し、営業案件の推進とB&Rソリューションの提案を支援します。
• 技術資料、ソリューション説明書、提案書、見積書を作成し、社内関係部門と連携しながら、迅速かつ正確な顧客対応を実現します。

応募資格

• メカトロニクス、電気工学、オートメーション工学、コンピュータ工学、または関連する技術分野の学士号を有する方。
• 産業オートメーション、機械制御、モーションコントロール、ロボティクス、産業用通信、およびデジタル化技術に強い関心を持つ方。
• 顧客の要件を理解し、それを実用的かつ技術的に適切なオートメーションソリューションへ落とし込める方。
• 顧客、営業チーム、販売代理店、機械メーカー、および社内エンジニアリング部門と円滑に協働できるコミュニケーション力・プレゼンテーション力を有する方。
• 体系的な研修、実践的な学習、および顧客対応業務を通じて、アプリケーションエンジニアリングの専門知識を習得する意欲のある方。
• PLC、HMI、サーボシステム、産業用ネットワーク、または関連するオートメーション技術の基礎知識を有する方歓迎。
• 日本語が堪能であり、ビジネス環境で英語によるコミュニケーションができる方。

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers by providing technical expertise for B&R automation solutions. As part of your development, you will undergo comprehensive training in B&R products, systems, software, and application engineering practices. Each day, you will work closely with Sales Engineers to identify the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for customer applications while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

The legal entity of this position is B&R K.K.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting Sales Engineers by providing technical consultation, application support, and solution recommendations for B&R automation products, systems, software, and services.
• Analyzing customer requirements and assisting in the selection, configuration, and sizing of automation solutions, including controller systems, motion control, safety, HMI, industrial communication, and software technologies.
• Participating in customer meetings, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and technical discussions to support sales opportunities and promote B&R solutions.
• Preparing technical documentation, solution descriptions, application proposals, and quotations for existing customers, while coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in industrial automation, machine control, motion control, robotics, industrial communication, and digitalization technologies.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical and technically sound automation solutions.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, distributors, machine builders, and internal engineering organizations.
• Willingness to develop application engineering expertise through structured training, hands-on learning, and customer-facing technical activities.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, industrial networks, or related automation technologies is preferred.
• Fluent in Japanese and able to communicate effectively in English in a business environment.
