This growth helps develop and improve efficiency across our global business. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work virtually and in our London office. It involves analysing portfolio performance, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting engagement with global broking, facilities, product, and Strategy & Execution teams. You will help maximise the value delivered by Aon's facilities and portfolio solutions while contributing to improved client outcomes and business growth. What the day will look like This role spans across Aon’s Global Treaty Reinsurance team, across multiple lines of business and working with a broad spectrum of teams to evolve the treaty broking distribution channels of the solution line. The position will report to the Treaty Facilities Director and work with regional network broking colleagues to deliver market-leading solutions to Aon clients, creating a competitive advantage in our placement strategies worldwide. Key Responsibilities Data analyst supporting the Facilities and Asset Management team within Facultative Reinsurance. Work alongside broking, underwriting, strategy, technology and operations teams to maximise utilisation and performance of proprietary facilities across regional facultative teams. Help shape and develop submission, trading and portfolio management processes across Treaty Reinsurance. Working in conjunction with the Facilities Data Director to enhance the Treaty Reinsurance contribution in respect to reduction of indexation risk and work alongside the Reinsurance regions to manage both the new business and renewal pipeline Develop a detailed understanding of the worldwide Treaty Reinsurance portfolio. Know what is in scope for the facility, including client numbers. Segment these by region, country, size, product, industry, and class of business. Understand the key exposure analysis along with attachment and limit profiles Analysis of pre and post binding of treaty placements into Cortina through regular (daily / weekly / monthly) investigations of the business submitted from all country and regional facultative teams via our GRiDS Broking proprietary trading platform. Build strong working relationships with our regional treaty broking teams across country and class of business and those actively managing Cortina within each team. Working with business leaders across the firm to understand and address any the performance issues of existing and future facilities and portfolio solutions. Support robust performance management, training and competency frameworks, ensuring actions are implemented effectively and on time. Working with the Facultative ACT Facility Indexation data analyst team to share and exchange knowledge and best practices for the benefit of clients and utilisation Ensure all FCA regulations and internal compliance requirements are adhered to in a timely manner Promote consistent adoption of agreed processes, tools and best practices across the business. How this opportunity is different This is a new opportunity within Aon’s Reinsurance Solution Line following the recent creation of the Cortina facility for the Global Treaty Reinsurance portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Execution - Treaty, you will work alongside senior brokers, underwriting teams, strategy and technology specialists, and regional leadership teams globally. You will help ensure that existing and future facilities, portfolio solutions and distribution strategies deliver measurable value to clients, brokers and carrier partners. You will play a key role in analysing portfolio performance, identifying growth opportunities, enhancing trading outcomes and supporting the efficient execution of placements through Aon's digital trading ecosystem. Facilities and portfolio solutions are becoming increasingly important to Aon's growth strategy, providing clients with differentiated access to capacity, streamlined placement processes and enhanced risk transfer solutions. Skills and experience that will lead to success Analytical approach with drive to undertake investigation of various data sets Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as self-directed tasks Strong technology and platform proficiency, including data analysis and reporting tools. Excellent communication and collaborator management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple teams and functions. Proven track record to manage challenging priorities and deliver quality outcomes to challenging deadlines. Experience interpreting portfolio, placement or performance data and translating findings into business recommendations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to governance, compliance and operational excellence.
