Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.  VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments. 

The Nordics & Baltics consulting practice is looking for a Consulting Manager based in Copenhagen to lead high-impact consulting engagements across the region.

You will work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, innovation and payments, helping clients solve critical business challenges and capture new growth opportunities.

• Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible business impact for Visa clients, including banks, fintechs, acquirers, merchants, processors and other payment ecosystem participants.

• The Nordics & Baltics consulting practice is looking for a Consulting Manager based in Copenhagen to lead high-impact consulting engagements across the region.

• You will work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, innovation and payments, helping clients solve critical business challenges and capture new growth opportunities.

Specific Responsibilities include: 

• Lead consulting engagements and workstreams from problem definition through recommendation development and implementation.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across financial institutions, fintechs and merchants.

• Structure complex business problems and translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.

• Manage and develop graduates, analysts and consultants while ensuring high-quality client deliverables.

• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams and senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Visa product, sales, risk, innovation and marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Support proposal development, thought leadership and practice growth activities.

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of Visa Consulting & Analytics across the Nordics and Baltics.

• Strategy and growth initiatives for banks, fintechs and payment providers.

• Payment ecosystem strategy, market entry and partnership development.

• Digital asset, stablecoin and emerging payment infrastructure assessments.

• Customer lifecycle optimization, loyalty and retention programs.

• Fraud, risk and operational performance improvement initiatives.

• Digital transformation and data-driven growth strategies.

• Visa migration and payment portfolio optimization programs.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (Tuesday - Thursday), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.  

Qualifications

What we'd like from you -

• Proven experience within management consulting, strategy, financial services, payments or fintech.

• Proven ability to lead projects and workstreams involving senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.

• Excellent executive communication, storytelling and presentation skills.

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project teams in fast-paced environments.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support business development efforts.

• Passion for payments, digital commerce, financial services and emerging technologies.

• A collaborative leadership style and commitment to coaching and developing colleagues.

• Degree from a leading university or business school.

• Professional proficiency in English and Danish
