Accounts Executive (Fixed Term)

Summary of the Role:

You will be working under the Finance department and will be responsible for the delivery of all activities relating to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform month- end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Accounts Payable: validate vendor invoices and staff claims, approval, receiving and completes payment.
• Accounts Receivable: monthly invoicing, monitors ageing and issuance of necessary official receipts/acknowledgment receipts.
• Monthly balance sheet preparation and analysis.
• Validates withholding tax report, and PEZA report for filing.
• Involve in both external and internal audit of the company.
• Compiling and preparing routine reports and summaries.
• Implement proper controls to safeguard company assets and ensures data accuracy.

 
Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Must have 1- 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
• Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
