Business Execution Senior Manager

About this role:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Execution Senior Manager to drive strategic business initiatives through data analytics, reporting automation, process optimization, governance, and front-office enablement. In addition to delivering scalable analytics and executive reporting, the role will provide structured support to the Sales function and help the Strategy team run, monitor, and operationalize FX and broader macro strategies.

 

The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with business and markets acumen to improve Sales effectiveness, strengthen the analytical infrastructure behind strategic views, automate recurring processes, and support timely, well-controlled decision-making.


In this role, you will:

Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility

Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives

Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans

Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement

Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables

Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk

Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Provide quantitative and production support for FX and Macro Strategy, while named strategists retain ownership of published views, trade recommendations, and client communication.

Build and maintain the analytical infrastructure supporting forecasts, strategic views, and trade analysis, including recurring forecast tables and scenario analysis.

Maintain nowcasting models, consensus-versus-actual surprise trackers, central-bank reaction functions, and market-implied policy paths using OIS and forward-market data.

Maintain inflation-decomposition models and datasets covering growth, inflation, external accounts, reserves, official-sector FX activity, and portfolio flows across relevant developed and emerging markets.

Build and refresh valuation and trade screens, including carry, real-rate, REER, curve, and breakeven analysis, to help strategists evaluate how macro views may be expressed.

Maintain economic calendars and event-risk schedules covering policy meetings, data releases, fiscal events, auctions, and other market-relevant events.

Support chart production, auto-refreshing chart packs, publication assembly, data validation, source attribution, and pre-publication consistency checks.

Help translate approved strategic ideas into repeatable analytical workflows, dashboards, tracking tools, and operating processes.

Monitor approved strategies against defined market, valuation, risk, and performance indicators; escalate material exceptions or data issues to the accountable strategist or business owner.

Coordinate recurring strategy reviews and produce concise management reporting on status, key drivers, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.

Automate data ingestion, calculations, visualizations, and alerts used in strategy monitoring, subject to applicable controls and approvals.

Lead strategic initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.

Govern reporting standards, controls, documentation, entitlements, and change management.

Partner with business, Sales, Strategy, trading, technology, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders.

Develop controls to support reporting accuracy, traceability, and compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.

Drive process-improvement initiatives and maintain clear ownership, milestones, dependencies, and escalation paths.

 


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years Management or leadership experience.

5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business execution, business intelligence, financial markets, or a related discipline.

5+ years of Power BI development experience and 3+ years of Python development experience.

Strong SQL, data-modeling, data-visualization, and workflow-automation experience.

Experience in financial markets, with familiarity in FX, macroeconomics, rates, market data, valuation concepts, or strategy analytics.

Experience working with large datasets, enterprise reporting platforms, and controlled production processes.

Strong communication, stakeholder-management, organizational, and delivery skills.


Desired Qualifications:

•  Experience supporting Sales, Research, Strategy, trading, or another Markets-facing function.

•  Experience with econometrics, time-series analysis, forecasting, nowcasting, or market-data analytics.

•  Familiarity with Bloomberg, Haver, or equivalent economic and financial data platforms.

•  Experience producing client-ready charts, presentations, publications, or executive-level materials.

•  Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and control discipline.

•  Present analysis, business insights, implementation updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.

•  Translate business, Sales, and Strategy requirements into scalable analytics and operating solutions.

•  Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate project delivery across locations and functions.

•  Provide leadership and mentorship to analysts and developers, with a focus on quality, controls, and continuous improvement.

 

Data Analytics & Reporting

•  Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and scorecards.

•  Create executive reporting solutions that provide actionable business and client insights.

•  Develop KPI frameworks and performance-monitoring dashboards for business, Sales, and Strategy activities.

•  Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.

•  Conduct reconciliations against source systems and investigate data-quality issues.

 

Sales Function Support

•  Partner with Sales teams to provide timely analytics, reporting, and business insights that support client coverage and prioritization.

•  Develop and maintain client, product, activity, and engagement dashboards, including standardized views of pipeline, interactions, readership, and follow-up actions where applicable.

•  Support preparation of client materials, pitch books, presentations, briefing packs, and responses to requests for information, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to approved standards.

•  Coordinate inputs across Sales, Strategy, trading, business management, technology, and operations to improve execution of client and business priorities.

•  Automate recurring Sales reporting and tracking processes to reduce manual effort and improve transparency.
