Job Title

Business Analyst

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for serving as a critical link between business stakeholders and the development, QA, UI/UX, and product teams in the creation of next-generation integrated mobile applications. It ensures effective requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, validation, functional testing, and collaboration to support high-quality digital product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a functional business analyst for mobile and digital applications.
  • Participate in requirement-gathering sessions and collaborate with business users to collect detailed requirements.
  • Analyze requirements and prepare functional specifications in the form of user stories or use cases.
  • Identify gaps in requirements and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Review test cases prepared by the QA team and perform functional or unit testing of the application.
  • Analyze changes proposed by the business team and conduct impact analysis.
  • Manage JIRA activities, including risk analysis, change request logging, and conflict management.
  • Work with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and perform associated activities.
  • Contribute to team and individual improvements through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

 

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an MBA in Business.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in the e-commerce domain (preferred).
  • Experience working on mobile or digital applications as a functional analyst.
  • Hands-on experience with wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq.
  • Awareness of third-party integrations such as CleverTap, Adjust, Firebase, and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding of mobile application functioning.
  • Experience in user research and design activities.
  • Strong analytical and requirement-gathering skills.
  • Ability to create clear and structured functional documentation.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze impacts, identify gaps, and support testing activities.
  • Experience using JIRA for requirement tracking, risk analysis, and change management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
