Have you ever thought about what it takes to protect hundreds of millions of Amazon customers from having their accounts compromised? At Amazon's Account Integrity Team (AIT), we are on the front lines of detecting and preventing account security threats — from Account Takeover (ATO) to the broader landscape of credential abuse, unauthorized access, and emerging attack vectors that make up some of the most sophisticated and evolving threats in e-commerce fraud.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team, focused on our account security charter. In this role, you will own the analytical backbone of our account security detection and prevention programs. This includes building enforcement metrics to evaluating the effectiveness of rule-based and ML-driven interventions across millions of sign-in and account events globally.

You will be the analytical authority for performance measurement and program insights. You will work closely with Science, Tech, Product, and Operations teams to translate complex fraud signals into actionable strategies. Beyond measurement, you will design and build the GenAI infrastructure that powers the next generation of our analytics. This role will stand up the pipelines, tools, and automation that let the team apply large language models and generative AI to fraud detection, investigation, and insight generation at scale.

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Fraud Detection, and Pipeline Development. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
