  • Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy including pricing, lead times, supplier records, order status, sourcing information, and procurement parameters.
  • Support request for quotation (RFQ) activities and supplier quote analysis to assist Global Supply Managers (GSMs) with sourcing decisions and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Drive tactical cost savings through supplier engagement, quote comparisons, pricing analysis, and identification of commercial opportunities.
  • Coordinate material readiness for prototype, engineering validation, and production builds.
  • Partner with Planning and Manufacturing teams to resolve shortages and material availability issues.
  • Track long-lead materials and work closely with suppliers to ensure supply continuity and schedule alignment.
  • Support supplier onboarding activities and ensure suppliers meet procurement process requirements.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies, shipment issues, receiving concerns, and supplier-related execution challenges.
  • Provide timely updates to cross-functional teams regarding supplier commitments, shortages, material availability, and delivery risks.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities through proactive procurement planning and supplier coordination.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or practical equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of purchasing experience in hardware, manufacturing, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or similar environments.
  • Experience purchasing custom printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), cable harnesses, sensors, connectors, or other electronic components and assemblies strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers and contract manufacturers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement execution, supplier delivery management, and material planning processes.
  • Experience supporting prototype, NPI, and production build activities.
  • Strong command of ERP/MRP systems (Windchill, MISys, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently manage suppliers, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Procurement, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Negotiation, and ERP. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
