Job Title: Compliance Centre Lead

Job Purpose:
The Compliance Centre Lead is the enterprise leader of GSK’s global Compliance Centre. The role shapes how the company uses insights, technology, and simplified global processes to deliver a scalable, and auditable case management service that enables business owned risk management and confident, timely decisions. The role reports to Head of Global Function Compliance and Compliance Centre.

Acting as a critical enabler of the operating model, the Lead reduces operational burden, surfaces early risk signals, and drives the cultural shift to insight led, business embedded risk management across markets and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver enterprise leadership for the Compliance Centre: successfully deliver on the Centre’s mission, scope, operating principles, and value proposition. Align decision rights, service boundaries, and performance standards in line with the Compliance model and strategy.
  • Deliver a consistent, scalable, high-quality global compliance service: Ensure Centre operations meet defined service standards, governance expectations, and audit requirements. Drive disciplined, data-enabled case management across Privacy, ABAC, Third‑party Risk, Investigations support, CAPA, and other core compliance processes.
  • Own the Centre’s insight generation: Translate case activity into actionable risk signals and trend insights that inform market prioritisation and enterprise decision‑making. Connect Centre insights to Polaris, Compass, and the Quarterly Risk Report to enable earlier risk surfacing and sharper, market‑level action.
  • Shape the global compliance operating model: Partner with Compliance leaders, Product Owners, and Technology to evolve processes, platforms, and standards. Champion simplification, harmonisation, and automation at enterprise scale.
  • Lead digital and AI enabled transformation: Drive adoption and optimisation of case management tooling and analytics, including AI enabled insights, workflow automation, and data comparability to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and unlock capacity.
  • Senior stakeholder leadership and governance influence: Engage and influence senior governance forums and business leaders to align priorities, resolve complex issues, simplify, and reinforce business ownership of risk supported by Compliance as strategic partner.
  • Governance, escalation, and control effectiveness: Oversee high-risk escalations and ensure expert involvement, rigorous documentation, audit readiness, and consistent risk-based judgement across Centre operations.
  • Enterprise efficiency and value: Use data, process design, and technology to reduce duplication and cost, focus effort on the highest‑value activities, and demonstrate measurable business impact.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Investigations, Internal Controls, Audit, or related functions, including at least 5 years in a people leadership role with responsibility for strategy, resource allocation, and team performance.
  • Experience leading cross-functional or global teams spanning multiple countries, business units, or functions, including delivery of organizational, process, or technology change initiatives.
  • Experience managing or transforming a centralized service delivery, shared services, compliance operations, or governance function, including implementation of process improvements, standardization efforts, or operating model changes.
  • experience overseeing compliance case management, investigations, risk assessments, or control processes in accordance with regulatory, governance, audit, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience utilizing technology platforms, data analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools to monitor compliance risks, identify trends, support decision-making, and report outcomes to leadership.
  • Experience presenting compliance, risk, investigation, or operational findings to executive leaders, governance committees, audit committees, or other senior stakeholders, including development of recommendations and implementation plans.
  • Experience coordinating the resolution of cross-functional compliance, risk, governance, or operational issues involving multiple stakeholders, business units, or geographies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in a relevant field such as Law, Business, Risk Management, or Data Analytics.
  • Experience supporting functional budget stewardship and engaging with third-party suppliers, including contributing to contract discussions, monitoring delivery, and supporting value realisation.
  • High degree of personal integrity, sound judgement, and discretion.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Compliance, Case Management, Risk Management, Process Automation, and Stakeholder Management. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list. This role treats it as a required part of the job.
