Data Integration Solution Architect

Job Description:

A position for a Data Integration Solution Architect has just arised within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful candidate will join Data Integration team which is part of AD&S Data Management & AI. As a Data Integration Solution Architect you will design and architect the data solutions that connect different data sources from any existing repository or information system across the entire organization, in alignment with standards defined by Enterprise Architecture and compliance and regulatory requirements  

The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of data roles, including data engineers, dataops engineers, and other data architects, working in classical and agile project management methodologies, to guide the projects to select the most appropriate data pattern to connect the involved data in the most standard and sustainable approach. 

Additionally, will support the head of the function, jointly with other Data Integration Solution architects, on the strategical vision of new Data Integration & Interoperability layer at company level, to leverage the AI acceleration 

You will make the data fly inside Airbus Defence & Space and also from and to outside partners, customers or governments!

Main tasks:

• Define solution architecture linked to all Data Integration demands/requests once the product owner shared the functional and technical needs of the new Use Case
• Support Data Architecture sustainability thanks to standard architecture patterns, blocks and artifacts per Data Integration product 
• Secure the performance of the Data Integration & Interoperability  architecture as expected level in closed alignment with Service roles (PSL leader, Service Manager, Service Delivery Manager and Operation Mangers)
• Provide guidelines to the DevOps Tool Owner and Operation Managers on the different architecture configurations 
• Secure that all TD Security standards are taken into account by new Projects/Demands of Data Integration
• Support vulnerabilities management in close alignment with Data Security Engineers and other key Digital Security accountables
• Track the evolution of Data Integration products and guide PSL Leader on the strategy of our portfolio of products
• Track the major upgrades of Data Integration products and advise Service team on how to implement the upgrade 

Outputs:

• Data Integration products SABBs/SBBs up to date in alignment with all Use Cases supported by the integration platforms/products in close collaboration with Domain and Enterprise data architects
• DevOps architecture guidelines
• DataOps architecture golden rules and associated methodology
• Data Integration architecture metrics and performance KPIs + architecture capacity roadmap 
• SABBs/SBBs Security standards up to date
• Security products in Data Integration landscape properly configured and aligned with standards and Enterprise Architecture guidelines
• Security white papers shared with key stakeholders
• Vulnerabilities under control in collaboration with Data Security Engineers and Security stakeholders

Skills & Competencies:

• University degree in IT related field
• English and French negotiation level
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Existing Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one would be mandatory
• Over 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Integration Solution Architect, preferably in cloud OnPrem environments
• Deep knowledge of design event-driven networks, service-oriented architectures (SOA), and microservices patterns 
• Over 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building data pipelines with Enterprise Data Integration Platforms (middlewares, ETL, ELT, API platforms …)
• Over 3 years of hands on experience building and securing RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL interfaces 
• Experience in the enforcement of data masking, tokenization, and end to end encryption
• Deep knowledge of PKI management and IAM topics related to secure pipelines, using OAuth, IAM roles and active directory services
• Experience implementing strict rules for GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA compliance
• Experience in developing technical and support documentation, translate business requirements and needs into reporting and models
• Knowledge on DevOps methods and tools (some experience would be a plus)
• IT project management knowledge (waterfall and agile)
• Basic experience in IT Service Management principles
