About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager – Engineering to join Jumeirah Emirates Towers. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Track central BMS workstations, chilled water plant parameters, AHUs/FCUs, and room automation in real time.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, control valves, and VFDs.
• Fine-tune operational schedules, setback temperatures, and reset strategies to lower energy consumption.
• Monitor completion of PM tasks, prioritize urgent repairs, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. 
• Respond to breakdowns, utility outages, and transport delays; prepare detailed reports and escalate critical issues.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements for efficiency and guest satisfaction.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 5+ years as a BMS/Automation Engineer (hotel or high-rise facility experience preferred).
• Proficiency in major BMS platforms and GRMS interfaces
• Problem solving
• Leadership and team management skills
• Luxury Hotel background
• Mechanical MEP background
