The proposed combination would bring together iconic Foods brands, including Hellmann’s and Knorr, with McCormick’s portfolio to create a global leader across spices, seasonings, condiments and complementary food categories, supported by strong retail and foodservice platforms. McCormick brings more than 135 years of heritage, a presence in 150+ countries and territories, and a portfolio of trusted brands. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, with completion estimated for mid-2027
Function: Supply Chain — General Management
Country Location and Worksite Details: Taipei
JOB PURPOSE
This role is the supply chain leader for the Taiwan and Hong Kong markets: it leads the end-to-end supply chain operation for the markets and works closely with the business to fuel growth. He/she will connect tightly with the market business teams, leading the supply chain to deliver what the business needs most — growth, gross margin, innovation, product superiority and agility, etc. Beyond the markets, he/she will also shape the end-to-end supply chain strategy for Greater China — making the supply chain a future-fit and competitive organization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Three priorities define this role: championing the Taiwan and Hong Kong market supply chain as a true partner to the business; building and developing a winning team and sufficient talent pool in TWHK market; and developing the end-to-end supply chain strategy for Greater China
- Own the end-to-end supply chain for the Taiwan and Hong Kong markets: deeply understand the needs of the market businesses, act as their strategic partner, and use the full set of supply chain levers and advanced technologies to deliver what matters most — growth, gross margin, service, product superiority and agility, etc
- Set the development strategy for the market supply chain and turn it into a concrete roadmap: define the sourcing network strategy and the supplier system behind it, and build solid S&OP process, route-to-market (RTM), customer service and fulfilment models that fit the Taiwan and Hong Kong markets
- Build leading operational fundamentals: run the Taiwan factory and logistics operations to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency, and level up the factory and logistics network with automation and digital technology — so the operation is stable and advanced today, and ready for the business and customer needs of tomorrow
- Building the organization for the future: develop leaders and teams across the market supply chain, grow a strong talent pipeline, and foster a culture where people keep raising the bar
- Develop the end-to-end supply chain strategy for Greater China: as the concurrent owner of the Greater China supply chain strategy, turn the business asks into the end-to-end supply chain — enabling the business, and building a world-class supply chain at the cutting edge of the industry
- Be accountable for outcomes the business can see: business growth, market-leading service, stronger gross margins, competitive quality and a supply chain that responds fast when the business moves — and share the best ideas with the wider network
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain management — for example in planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service and supply chain strategy — with a track record of leading supply chains at market or regional level and delivering business results
- A deep understanding of the business — especially the foods business in Taiwan and Hong Kong — and a clear grasp of how the business and the supply chain interface and work together in a company, acting as a true strategic partner to the business
- A command of the full supply landscape — in-house manufacturing, import and export flows, CM, sourcing network and strategy, and the supplier and procurement systems etc. behind them — paired with a strategic perspective: bring business needs, supply chain strategy and day-to-day operations together into one coherent picture, and solve problems in a structured, strategic way
- A credible coach and connector: grow people across all levels, from the front line to senior leadership, and know how to mobilize cross-functional partners — One Tech Team, business teams and global teams
- Leadership at scale: a proven ability to build organizations, land strategy across a large and complex supply chain, and transform and develop organizations, teams and talent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience in great China markets — running operations or holding a core management role there — so the local business and supply landscape is already familiar territory
- Exposure to end-to-end supply chain strategy and big bet projects: have been part of strategy making, know end-to-end operations well, and understand what makes them tick
- Breadth across the end-to-end supply chain — for example, rotations through different functions such as manufacturing and customer operations — together with close engagement with the business and people
