Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP)

At Roche, we advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. As the Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) for Roche Diagnostics Netherlands, you will be a pivotal member of our finance team, serving as a trusted enterprise partner across the entire value chain.

You will have the unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise and deep business understanding to support our business strategy that delivers value for our customers, the affiliate, and the wider enterprise. By working closely with our commercial organization and customers, you will ensure maximum impact along their journey.

To support our dynamic commercial organization and evolving healthcare customer models, we are seeking versatile finance professionals who can steer business growth, protect margins, and optimize complex contract delivery. Depending on your experience, background, and strengths, there are two role offers with tailored exposure, covering these focus areas:

Role 1: Commercial Deal Partnering: Partnering with customer-facing commercial teams across our different customer areas to deliver competitive pricing, contract structuring, deal review, and indexation models.

Role 2: Contract Performance Monitoring: Driving rigorous operational control across contract life cycles and customer care to protect instrument placement margins, monitor contract performance, and track operational write-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Strategy & Growth: You will be a key partner in developing coherent commercial strategies, prioritising opportunities, and creating innovative approaches for revenue generation.
• Optimise Resource Allocation: You will balance resources across competing priorities, providing expert advice on the financial implications of business activities to achieve targeted results.
• Enhance Customer Value: You will monitor customer performance over the contract life cycle, ensuring full value realisation through strategic initiatives and process improvements.
• Foster Innovation: You will support the co-creation of new business models, quantifying value and providing pricing transparency for our customers.
• Collaborate Across Networks: You will build strong connections across the organisation to share best practices and implement sustainable commercial deals.

Role 1: Commercial Deal Partnering:

• Act as a key enterprise partner to the commercial organization in deal calculations and contract negotiations.
• Formulate P&L insights and outlook projections supporting Network Leads
• Steer annual contract indexations and act as the Enterprise single-point-of-contact (SPOC) for customer area data insights and analytics.

Role 2: Contract Performance Monitoring

• Generate actionable financial insights across contract models
• Conduct deep-dive analysis in direct collaboration with other business areas for end-to-end contract performance monitoring, serving as the catalyst for data-driven analytics to accelerate decision-making.

Who You Are

You are an agile, analytical finance professional who embraces cross-functional collaboration and possesses the ability to zoom in on granular financial details while zooming out to guide enterprise commercial strategy.

• Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Controlling, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in commercial finance, business partnering, financial controlling, or contract cost controlling (preferably within MedTech, Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals, or complex B2B solutions).
• Technical & Systems Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ERP, modern reporting / BI tools, and financial modelling. Prior familiarity with pricing configurations, contract modules, or Quote-to-Cash platforms is strongly valued.
• Analytical & Business Acumen: Proven capability to translate complex operational data, contracts, and cost trends into clear strategic guidance for cross-functional teams.
• Mindset & Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, capable of challenging the status quo with empathy and candour across commercial and technical teams.
