Day-to-day responsibilities

As GCS AML Operations Lifecycle Head, you will lead the end-to-end AML operations lifecycle for the Global Collect Services (GCS) merchant portfolio. This includes Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and onboarding, Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) and periodic reviews, remediation activities, and AML Transaction Monitoring. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that AML operations are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with regulatory requirements, while supporting the growth ambitions of the GCS business. Working closely with Compliance, Risk, Commercial, Product, and Technology teams, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen controls, and enhance the effectiveness of Worldline's financial crime prevention framework. 

In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee large-scale AML operations, drive process optimization and automation initiatives, and ensure the organization remains scalable, resilient, and audit-ready. You will play a key role in shaping the future operating model of AML Operations, leveraging data, technology, and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable performance and exceptional service quality.

• Deep Risk Operations expertise across KYC/KYB, AML, Fraud, Credit Risk or Merchant Monitoring, with strong regulatory and compliance knowledge
• Senior leadership experience managing large, diverse teams with an inclusive, collaborative approach
• A track record of scaling automation, standardisation and operational excellence
• Strategic thinking and the ability to turn vision into practical roadmaps
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven, detail-oriented approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leaders, ExCom and international teams
• Experience leading change and transitions in complex, fast-moving environments
• Business English at C1 level or above; German or French is an advantage
