  • Compliance & Government Property: Ensure all material management practices comply with federal requirements, including the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) for government property accountability. Maintain audit-ready records at all times.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary inventory liaison between the warehouse, production lines, procurement, and Finance. Participate in the site's battle rhythm meetings and provide visibility into material status, risks, and constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead process improvements to increase accuracy, reduce waste, and improve material flow. Implement standardized procedures that scale as additional business lines come to the site.
  • Metric Reporting: Develop and maintain inventory dashboards covering accuracy percentages, inventory turns, transaction discipline, shrinkage, and cycle count results. Report regularly to site leadership on performance and trends.
