Are you passionate about shaping the future of work? Do you thrive in complex, fast-paced environments where no two days look the same? Then this might be the role for you.

We're looking for an Employee Relations / Labor Relations Manager to join our German EXR Team – a diverse, high-energy group united by a shared mission: making Amazon Earth's Best Employer and Earth's Safest Place to Work.

In this role, you'll be at the intersection of people strategy and business impact. You'll partner with site leadership teams and regional Operations leaders to develop and implement labor relations strategies that foster constructive, transparent, and forward-looking relationships with employee representatives. You'll also provide strategic counsel on broader labor activities that shape the external landscape – helping Amazon navigate complexity with confidence and clarity.

What You'll Do
- Own the labor relations strategy for your scope within German Operations – from concept to execution, working closely with site teams and senior leaders.
- Advise and guide site leadership on employee representation matters, ensuring Amazon engages constructively and in line with its values.
- Develop proactive approaches to emerging labor dynamics, helping the business stay ahead of the curve rather than reacting to it.
- Build trusted partnerships across HR, Legal, Internal Communications, and Public Relations to ensure aligned and effective messaging – both internally and externally.
- Champion employee engagement by ensuring fair, consistent, and transparent processes are embedded in everything we do.
- Support programs and projects that strengthen the relationship between Amazon and its employee representatives, fostering dialogue and mutual respect.

About the Team
Our EU Ops EXR Team operates in a matrix structure across the EU region. We work in a culture of openness, trust, and – yes – fun. We believe that great employee relations start with great teamwork, and we bring curiosity, resilience, and a healthy dose of humor to everything we do.
You'll be part of a team that travels, collaborates across borders, and tackles some of the most interesting challenges in the European labor relations landscape.

This is a full-time position that will require some travel, up to 40% of the time over the course of the year mainly in Germany.

You will be embedded in a fun-to-work with team and as such also get your share in reaching our team goals and work on DE-wide projects covering all lines of business.

About the team

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Hr Strategy, and Communication. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them — a tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
