About the role

We are looking for a Lead AI Consultant to guide our clients through their end-to-end AI transformation. While AI assessments are often the vital starting point of the customer journey, your work extends across the entire lifecycle—from initial technical evaluations and solution architecture to hands-on building and production delivery. In this role, you will lead through technical vision and project ownership rather than formal line management.

In this role, you will act as a trusted partner. You will regularly engage with customer stakeholders, engineering leads, and business decision-makers, while staying actively grounded in hands-on building and engineering.

We value strong deep-dive expertise in either hands-on technical architecture or customer-facing advisory, combined with a solid, pragmatic foundation in the other.

What you'll do:

• Drive pre-sales & solutioning: Partner closely with sales leads to uncover client needs, scope technical projects, design tailored AI solutions, and present compelling proposals.

• Lead AI assessments & strategic roadmapping: Conduct AI readiness evaluations to establish client baselines, then chart the path forward through practical architectures and transformation roadmaps.

• Customer engagement & advisory: Articulate the business value, ROI, and practical considerations of AI initiatives to key business and technical stakeholders on the client side, translating complex AI concepts into actionable decisions.

• Hands-on building & implementation: Build POCs, write code, design architectures, and build AI solutions alongside client engineering teams, ensuring strategy translates into real, working systems.

• Continuous learning & innovation: Stay ahead of rapid industry shifts by experimenting with emerging AI models, agentic tools, and paradigms, sharing practical lessons and best practices across the team.

• Provide technical leadership: Guide client teams and internal consultants on Generative AI architectures, cloud-native deployments, MLOps, and safety guardrails.
  

Who we are looking for

• Hands-on AI & cloud foundation: Experience building with Generative AI (such as LLMs, fine-tuning, or agentic frameworks) or a strong technical understanding of one of the cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).

• Customer engagement & solutioning: Experience working directly with client stakeholders, helping scope technical projects or translating customer needs into clear, practical proposals.

• Continuous learning mindset: An intrinsic curiosity and drive to experiment, test new tools, and adapt quickly as the AI landscape evolves.

• Delivery orientation: Understanding of software engineering principles and what it takes to bring AI capabilities from early assessment into safe production environments.

• Clear communication: Comfortable sharing technical ideas and collaborating in fluent written and spoken English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience implementing AI safety frameworks, automated evaluations, and production guardrails.

• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps tools, Infrastructure as Code, or container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
