Senior Boomi Integration Developer
Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced 5 to 10 yrs. Senior Boomi Integration Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Boomi development experience combined with manufacturing-domain experience and SAP integration expertise. The role involves building integrations between SAP and other enterprise/cloud applications, manufacturing and supply-chain systems, APIs, databases, and other business platforms.

Experience with emerging Boomi AI capabilities, such as Boomi Agent Studio, Boomi Companion, Boomi Connect, AI Agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP), will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy enterprise integrations using Boomi.
• Develop integration solutions connecting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA with enterprise, cloud and manufacturing applications.
• Build and maintain SAP integrations using: SAP Connector / SAP JCo IDocs BAPIs RFCs
• Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs and manage API-based integrations using Boomi API capabilities.
• Develop complex data mappings and transformations using Boomi Maps, Groovy/JavaScript, JSON, XML and flat-file formats.
• Implement asynchronous and high-volume integrations using Boomi Atom Queues and appropriate integration patterns.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring, alerting and reprocessing mechanisms.
• Work closely with SAP functional teams, manufacturing/business stakeholders, application teams and external partners.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, integration testing, UAT and production deployment.
• Create and maintain integration specifications, mapping documents and operational documentation.
• Support modernization and migration of integrations from legacy middleware platforms to Boomi.
• Boomi API Management / API Gateway, Boomi Event Streams, Atom Queues , B2B / EDI
• ERP/CRM integration, database integrations
• CI/CD and integration deployment practices
• Exposure to Boomi Agent Studio and AI-based integration/automation capabilities.
• Experience with Boomi Companion.
• Understanding of Boomi Connect.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-based enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing AI agents that interact with enterprise applications, APIs and business data.
• Understanding of secure enterprise AI/agent architectures and governance.
• Exposure to Boomi out-of-the-box agents or similar agentic automation capabilities.

Certifications - Preferred

Relevant Boomi certifications in areas such as:

• Boomi Professional Integration Developer
• Boomi Architect
• Boomi for SAP
• Boomi API Management / API Design
• Boomi EDI/B2B
• Boomi Administration
• Boomi AI-related learning/certifications
