Job Overview

Here’s your chance to step into the role of Manager – Opex Invoice Validation at Dubai Holding Group Services. Based in Dubai and reporting to the Director – I2P, you will lead OPEX invoice validation and processing, drive operational improvements and develop a high-performing team.

In this position, you’ll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Lead end-to-end OPEX invoice validation and processing, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery and adherence to established processes and service levels.
• Oversee vendor accounts, invoice matching, open purchase order accruals, reconciliations, ageing invoices and exception handling.
• Monitor performance indicators, identify operational gaps and drive process optimisation, cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Maintain effective internal controls and support compliance, risk management and anti-fraud measures.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders to resolve invoice-related issues and implement improvements.
• Support special projects and initiatives that create continuous value for Group Services Finance.
• Lead, coach and develop the team while fostering operational excellence, innovation and a customer-focused service culture.

About You

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• A postgraduate degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a Finance specialisation.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of Finance experience, including at least five years of team leadership experience.
• Experience working within a Finance shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Invoice-to-Pay processes and Accounts Payable accounting principles and practices.
• Experience managing invoice processing using Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable reconciliations, vendor management, financial accounting, reporting and compliance.
• Strong operational excellence, stakeholder management, innovation and team leadership capabilities.
• Middle East experience is preferred.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA would be an advantage.
• A talent-focused and employee-centric approach.
