With our invention of the GPU we also set the stage for advances in the field of robotics, computer vision and artificial intelligence. Today NVIDIA is building a platform and solutions for Data Centers, Robotics and Autonomous Machines, making it a great time to join our company and this team. We are looking for a Chip Software Project Manager to help us coordinate and execute software activities for next generation SOC chip software development. This critical position is part of a high-performance team which offers comprehensive guidance in overseeing technical program coordination within the Software organization. Join us!

  • Drive the simulation and emulation POR, planning and schedule – work closely with Simulation and Emulation teams to build a prioritized plan and schedule for the project.

  • Ensure teams are providing all needed collaterals for the Software Product Life Cycle development process. Also drive teams to develop software for compliance to various Safety standards when applicable.

  • As the focal point, schedule and lead status meetings, handle communication of progress/status within/across all software teams across multiple geographic locations

  • Partner closely with platform teams to define, prioritize, and execute bring-up of their custom requirements.

  • Act as the primary interface to Auto, Data Center, Embedded and Mobile software groups for all chips related issues and communication.

What we need to see:

Questions you could be asked

  1. Walk me through a computer vision problem you solved, from raw data to a deployed model.
  2. Tell me about a project where project management was part of your work. What did you do?
  3. Tell me about a project where software development life cycle was part of your work. What did you do?
  4. Tell me about a project where soc was part of your work. What did you do?
  5. Tell me about a project where embedded systems was part of your work. What did you do?

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Computer vision, Project Management, Software Development Life Cycle, Soc, and Embedded Systems. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
