Job Description & Summary

Make an impact that matters

At PwC, you’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful challenges with people who bring different experiences, ideas and perspectives to the table. You’ll be part of an inclusive and collaborative environment where you can keep learning, take ownership and develop your leadership while helping clients create lasting value.

We combine strategic thinking with practical implementation. That means going beyond recommendations and working side by side with clients to turn ambitious ideas into measurable results.

Join our Fit for Growth team

Our Fit for Growth team helps organisations translate their strategy and growth ambitions into action. We work with clients to identify the capabilities that differentiate them, align their cost base and operating model with their priorities, and deliver transformation from design through implementation. PwC Belgium Fit for Growth describes this as aligning costs, capabilities and the operating model with corporate strategy and growth ambitions. [pwc.be]

As a Fit for Growth Manager, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, operating model design, cost optimisation, digital transformation, AI and transformation delivery. You’ll combine analytical thinking with hands on leadership, helping clients make choices and then turning those choices into sustainable change.

What your day will look like

No two transformations are identical. Depending on the client and project, you’ll:

Shape businesses and operating models

  • Work with clients to understand their growth ambitions and translate them into clear priorities and practical actions.
  • Design business and operating models that clarify how organisations create value, serve customers, make decisions and organise people, processes and technology.
  • Assess the capabilities organisations need to succeed and identify gaps across skills, processes and technology.
  • Support transformations related to mergers and acquisitions, including integration, preparing organisations for further acquisitions and helping businesses become ready to operate independently following a carve out.

Turn cost optimisation into investment for growth

  • Analyse costs, activities and performance to identify opportunities to simplify organisations and release resources for strategic priorities.
  • Develop practical improvements across processes, service levels, procurement and organisational structures.
  • Build robust business cases and implementation plans that balance short term results with longer term investment.
  • Help clients translate business priorities into digital transformation requirements and practical implementation roadmaps.

Explore the value of AI and technology

  • Work alongside AI and technology specialists to identify opportunities to automate repetitive work, improve decision making and support growth.
  • Explore applications across areas such as forecasting, customer service, procurement and management reporting.
  • Help clients consider the business benefits and practical requirements of AI, including reliable data, appropriate controls and new ways of working.
  • Use AI responsibly in your own work while applying critical judgement, validating outputs and protecting confidential information.

Lead transformation from plan to results

  • Take ownership of major projects and workstreams, including planning, budgets, milestones, deliverables and quality.
  • Bring together client stakeholders and PwC specialists across business, technology, people and change, tax and legal.
  • Monitor progress, costs, risks and outcomes, helping clients resolve issues and make timely decisions.
  • Work with change specialists to translate new processes and tools into new ways of working.
  • Stay close to implementation so that recommendations turn into measurable outcomes rather than remaining on paper.

What we’ll expect from you

You bring a combination of strategic thinking and a practical, results oriented mindset. You’re comfortable working through complexity, creating structure where the answer is not immediately obvious and communicating clearly with different stakeholders.

In particular, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant experience in management consulting, business transformation, operating model design, cost optimisation or related transformation work.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to connect data and business insight to practical recommendations.
  • Confidence leading challenging projects and taking ownership of scope, planning, budget, quality and delivery.
  • A communicative and collaborative leadership style that helps people contribute their different strengths.
  • The ability to run workshops and turn complex findings into clear, engaging stories for client stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and curiosity to understand client priorities and identify opportunities where PwC can provide further support.
  • An interest in digital transformation and AI, combined with sound judgement about where technology creates genuine business value.
  • A growth oriented mindset and willingness to learn, experiment and adapt as client needs and technology evolve.
  • A commitment to quality, integrity, inclusion and responsible working practices.

What you can expect from us

You’ll join a collaborative environment where challenging work comes with opportunities to keep growing.

You can expect:

  • Meaningful work, helping organisations address strategic growth, cost and transformation challenges.
  • Varied experience, working across business models, operating models, digital transformation, AI and large scale change.
  • Learning and development, building your technical expertise, consulting skills and leadership capabilities through experience, coaching and collaboration.
  • Ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to lead important work while drawing on PwC specialists when their expertise can strengthen the outcome.
  • A diverse and inclusive environment, where different perspectives are respected and people are encouraged to contribute.
  • Cross functional collaboration, connecting with expertise across PwC to solve complex client problems.
  • Opportunities to contribute to growth, developing client relationships, proposals, new solutions and the Fit for Growth practice.

Ready to make a difference

At PwC, we believe great outcomes come from combining different perspectives, curiosity and expertise with the courage to turn ideas into action.

If you’re ambitious about helping organisations grow, enjoy solving complex business problems and want to lead transformations all the way from analysis to implementation, we’d like to hear from you.

We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace built on respect and equal opportunity. Recruitment and candidate information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements, including GDPR.
