Do you like to solve manufacturing challenges? How would you like to turn on your creative genius and problem-solving to develop Digital Twins for virtual qualification, optimization of current manufacturing processes and predicting future state and design next generation autonomous manufacturing systems that deliver superior quality products and packages for consumers? If this sounds like fun, we are looking for someone with your skills and abilities.
As an M&S + ML Engineer, you will use modern data analysis and ML approaches in combination with engineering first principles in different fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, metallurgical etc and physical data to help us to develop and understand complex manufacturing systems. This work is foundational to developing Digital Twins for virtual qualification and real time manufacturing and warehouse optimization. You will also develop fast surrogate models of complex engineering processes that will require the combination of Advanced M&S tools of Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Production System Modeling with ML and physical data. You will be working with a highly talented cross-functional team of R&D scientists and engineers with expertise in R&D, manufacturing processes and data infrastructure. You will also Balance in-house development against turnkey solutions with best-in-class partners and own the build/buy recommendation and the technical due diligence behind it.

Job Qualifications
We are seeking individuals with a master’s or PhD degree in an engineering discipline and demonstrated practical experience and/or publications applying artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) in combination with engineering principles to solve complex engineering problems. Candidates with advanced degrees in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field may also be considered, provided they have demonstrated practical experience and/or publications applying AI/ML to engineering problems.
If you are a good fit for the M&S + ML Engineer role, you will have:
· Strong foundation in any branch of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Material Science, Electrical, Metallurgical, Aerospace etc)

Questions you could be asked
- What's a project where you used Copilot hands-on?
- Walk me through how you've used TensorFlow in your day-to-day work.
- What are the limits of Keras that you've run into, and how did you work around them?
- How would you decide a model or AI system is ready to ship?
- Tell me about a time a model underperformed in production. How did you find out, and what did you change?
Adapt your resume
- List these exact terms on your resume: Copilot, TensorFlow, and Keras. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
- Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
- Lead with what you built, trained or shipped. This role is judged on the AI system itself, not the tools around it.
