A day in the life
No two days in this role look exactly the same, but they all center on keeping people aligned, informed, and moving forward. Here is what a typical week might look like.
Your mornings often start by reviewing action items from recent Weekly or Monthly Business Reviews, following up with engineering leads, product managers, and operations partners across the SPECS organization to keep commitments on track. You may spend part of your morning preparing a pre-read document for an upcoming leadership review or drafting a monthly flash update that distills complex program status into clear, actionable takeaways for VP-level stakeholders within CSPE.
Midday, you might shift to site operations: connecting with facilities and IT on a space-planning request for the growing Phoenix site, coordinating logistics for an upcoming all-hands meeting, or reviewing proposals for a new training program. You are the go-to person when anyone in the PHX office needs to know who to call, what is happening on-site, or how to get something done.
In the afternoon, you could be working with local universities like ASU or UofA to finalize details for a career fair, aligning with community partners on a volunteer event, or planning the next employee recognition activity. You balance these external-facing efforts with internal collaboration, partnering with Executive Assistants across Amazon Payments to coordinate leadership calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
