He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We have two exciting full-time Project Coordinator opportunities—one supporting our Auckland Events Programme and the other supporting other projects within and for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Working alongside programme and project leads, you’ll provide the coordination and administrative support needed to plan, deliver and report on strategic initiatives across TAU. Both roles will maintain project information, monitor progress and actions, coordinate meetings and communications, and help keep delivery teams and stakeholders organised and aligned.
The Auckland Events Programme role will support the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events and related projects, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and external partners in a fast-moving environment. The EPMO role will support strategic programmes and projects across TAU, with a strong focus on consistent project practices, governance, project and portfolio reporting and organisational priorities.
In either role, you will:
- Support programme and project planning by coordinating inputs and maintaining delivery plans, schedules, workspaces, records and documentation using approved tools such as Asana.
- Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, approvals and actions, maintaining risk, issue, decision and change registers and escalating emerging concerns to the relevant lead.
- Coordinate governance, programme and working-group meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, papers, minutes, decisions and follow-up actions.
- Collate information for reports, presentations, briefings and business cases, and coordinate post-project or post-event evaluations, benefits tracking and lessons learned.
- Assist with resource planning, stakeholder communications, supplier liaison and project financial administration, including purchase orders, invoice processing and budget tracking where required.
