AI in this role

Drive enterprise advertising sales for hospitality and regulated brands leveraging programmatic and AI targeting tools.

Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, and custom ads—leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape an emerging business within Amazon Advertising. Our team is early in its journey, with an ambitious charter to establish Amazon as a category leader and to bring innovative advertising solutions to a sophisticated, fast-evolving market. We move quickly, think big, and take pride in clearing the path in a complex space so our advertisers can engage audiences in new and more effective ways.

In this role, you’ll own a strategic book of business, selling Amazon’s video, programmatic, and measurement solutions to senior marketing and agency leaders. You’ll personally lead large, consultative deals and multi-year commitments — connecting upper-funnel video engagement to lower-funnel business outcomes — and navigate the unique compliance and complexity of a regulated category. This is a strategic, enterprise-scale selling role, not a mid-market or account-management motion.

Key job responsibilities
- Personally own and grow a strategic advertiser portfolio, carrying and exceeding a quarterly revenue quota.
- Lead large, complex deals to closure — including multi-million-dollar upfront negotiations and long-term commitments — with senior client and agency stakeholders (VP/C-suite).
- Build new senior-level relationships across a strategic advertiser base within the AlcBev/regulated vertical.
- Understand Amazon's advertising portfolio—particularly our video, programmatic, and measurement solutions—and articulate its differentiated value in the market.
- Use programmatic, clean-room/AMC-style data collaboration, and outcome-based measurement to reshape how clients invest.
- Partner cross-functionally to navigate a dynamic, regulated environment and remove barriers to growth.
- Forecast and prioritize against quota using Sales CRM tools; leverage AI-powered tools to sharpen targeting.

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of B2B sales experience
- 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients
- Experience selling digital advertising with fluency in programmatic, video/streaming (CTV/OLV), and outcome-based measurement
- Experience developing, negotiating, and executing large, complex business agreements (multi-million-dollar deals/upfronts)
- Experience personally owning and exceeding a revenue quota

Preferred qualifications

- 10+ years of B2B sales experience
- 7+ years of enterprise/strategic advertising sales experience
- Experience with clean rooms, AMC, or data-collaboration/measurement platforms
- Experience selling into regulated categories (alcohol, pharma, gambling, financial services)
- Experience building new senior-level (VP/C-suite) client and agency relationships
- Strong written, verbal, and executive presentation skills

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Sales CRM and AI Powered Tools. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Put the AI tool in a bullet point about what you did, not just in a skills list. This role treats it as a required part of the job.
