About the job:
- Lead the delivery and governance of all mechanical disciplines across projects.
- Oversee HVAC, public health, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, district cooling, controls, and building management systems.
- Review and approve mechanical design deliverables, BIM models, IFC packages, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Drive value engineering, technical due diligence, constructability reviews, and lifecycle cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, international codes, and fire & life-safety standards.
- Monitor consultant and contractor performance and manage technical, quality, cost, and programme risks.
- Lead site inspections, technical audits, testing, commissioning, authority inspections, and project handover activities.
- Manage technical variations, procurement evaluations, claims support, and commercial considerations.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams while driving technical excellence and operational performance.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
- 12–15 years of experience within major real estate or infrastructure developments.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior management or discipline leadership role.
- Proven experience managing consultants and contractors through design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements, mechanical codes, sustainability standards, BIM coordination, and commissioning practices.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and project delivery expertise.
