Earlier this year, Unilever announced an agreement to combine its Foods business with McCormick & Company, creating a scaled global flavour powerhouse. The proposed combination would bring together iconic Foods brands, including Hellmann’s and Knorr, with McCormick’s portfolio to create a global leader across spices, seasonings, condiments and complementary food categories, supported by strong retail and foodservice platforms. McCormick brings more than 135 years of heritage, a presence in 150+ countries and territories, and a portfolio of trusted brands. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, with completion estimated for mid-2027.
JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Marketing Lead, Foods Poland to accelerate growth and transform the Foods business in one of Europe's most dynamic and competitive markets.
Reporting to the General Manager Foods Poland, this role is accountable for developing and executing the end-to-end category and brand growth strategy across Foods, driving consumer demand, market share growth, penetration expansion, and profitable business performance. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing marketing organization while partnering closely with Customer Development, CSP/RGM, Digital, Finance, Supply Chain and European Category teams to deliver sustainable growth.
This role is a critical member of the Poland Foods Leadership Team, responsible for shaping the future of iconic brands while fostering a winning culture and developing exceptional marketing talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business & Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute the Poland Foods growth strategy aligned with business objectives and category priorities.
- Lead annual and long-range category planning, ensuring delivery of market share, turnover, profit and penetration targets.
- Translate consumer, shopper and customer insights into winning growth plans.
- Drive portfolio choices, innovation pipelines and brand investment decisions.
- Champion a data-driven approach to business performance management and in-market execution.
Brand & Category Strategy
- Own the strategic direction of the Foods portfolio across key categories including Mini Meals, Condiments and Cooking Aids.
- Build distinctive brands that increase mental and physical availability.
- Ensure excellence in brand communications, innovation, renovation, media and digital activation.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen brand equity and drive commercial results.
Commercial Impact
- Partner with CSP & RGM to optimize pricing, promotions, assortment and channel strategies.
- Collaborate with Customer Development to unlock growth opportunities with Poland's key retailers and emerging channels.
- Accelerate category growth through a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing professionals, creating a high-performance culture.
- Build strong succession pipelines and elevate marketing capability across the organization.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and collective accountability.
- Act as a role model for agile leadership, growth mindset and inclusive team culture.
Transformation & Innovation
- Drive digital transformation and adoption of AI-enabled marketing practices.
- Embed consumer-centricity, experimentation and learning into the team's ways of working.
- Identify and implement new growth opportunities, partnerships and route-to-market innovations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of FMCG marketing experience, preferably within Foods or Consumer Goods.
- Proven track record of delivering category and brand growth in a highly competitive market.
- Demonstrated success leading multifunctional teams and developing talent.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing P&L outcomes.
- Experience managing significant marketing investments and agency partnerships.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Central and Eastern Europe markets.
- Background in category leadership, innovation, digital marketing or general management.
- Experience leading transformation and organizational change initiatives.
- Exposure to matrix and international organizations.

- Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote.
