Senior/Principal Physician (Hematology)

Typical Accountabilities:

• Takes medical responsibilities to ensures successful conduct and integrity of all in-scope clinical studies
• Work as China study physician in China-join global studies, PK studies or country-specific clinical initiatives under the supervision from program/study lead physicians.
• Contributes to study design and develops appropriate protocol synopsis and protocols/amendments to match China clinical practice and meet regulatory requirement.
• Provides medical monitoring for the trials to review medical data, evaluate AEs/SAEs and detect safety signals, to ensure the data with high quality and the safety of participants.
• Supports document preparations for China regulatory filing and registration as a TA clinical science expert.
• Provides consultation to clinical operation colleagues on protocol design questions and answering protocol related questions from site investigators as a clinical science physician.
• For China join global studies, keeps close connection with global study team during the entire course of the study.
• Responsible for interacting and communicating with China KOLs for China development plan and protocol design.
• Coaches junior colleagues and provides support as needed.
• Maintains up-to-date medical/scientific knowledge as well as clinical trial landscape and competitive intelligences in the TA.  
• Other tasks assigned by line manager as appropriate.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential

• Master degree in medical discipline or above
• Experience of management and design of clinical trials；
• At lease 3 years of physician experience in drug development in pharmaceutical company.

Desirable

• PhD in scientific discipline
• Extensive general medical knowledge
• Extensive experience in managing or designing clinical trials
• Thorough knowledge of study analysis and design in all phases of drug development
